Scott was the kind of person who instantly became a close friend. He influenced you to be more adventurous and outdoors, who made you laugh, and feel more alive. His love for the outdoors and his infectious passion for life touched everyone who knew him.

We hope this glimpse of his life brings you comfort and keeps his memory close. Knowing he lived life to the fullest every day, and the stories you have shared with us, have helped us through our loss.

What started as our hope of contributing a small check turned into something much bigger thanks to all of you. Custer County Search and Rescue brought all of Scott’s friends home safely. They are who you call when the worst happens in the wild. Volunteers, neighbors, mostly self-funded. We are forever grateful.
