In His Memory

The gatherings held for Scott, in the places that meant the most to him. We’ll add each one here as it happens.

A bench at Marsh Creek Bridge

August 14–16, 2026 · Marsh Creek

His closest friends, as well as our camping, motorcycle, hunting, and fishing family, came up for the weekend. On Saturday we walked the mile out from the trailhead to the bridge and dedicated a bench in his honor, then headed back to camp for tacos around the fire — the way he’d want it.

Going to visit? There is no cell service at the bridge, at the trailhead, or on the drive in. Download the offline map in Google Maps before you leave town — open the area, tap the … menu, then Download offline map. Screenshot the coordinates too, just in case.

Been out to the bench? Take a photo and text it to us. We’d love to see it — and it lets us know the bench is still standing out there.

On the river, with his people

June 5, 2026 · Salmon River

His rafting family and closest friends gathered on the river — speeches, flame shirts, and the boat we sent down the water.
